If I remember correctly, this was originally three 20 minute episodes that I put back-to-back on a cassette. This one has some great songs from that era, and of course Joyce gets nice on the turntables & the mic.

Of course when I moved from CT to SD, I brought my hip hop radio show taping habits with me. Being the hard-headed east coast hip hop guy that I was, I was impressed to find great DJs out here. I soon learned that San Diego is not just a laid back surfer town, but it is a place filled with crazy hip hop talent that are really good people as well. This is one of the first shows I taped once I got equipment shipped out here. Great collection of hip hop & R&B.

Flex at his best. I used to ride around listening to these tapes trying to figure out how to mix. CLASSIC. My favorite part of these old tapes is the drops.

Hip Hop and R&B mix with plenty of blends. This one starts off with some of today's hits over old school freestyle beats, ends with some hard hip hop, and has a whole lot of heat in-between.
